It’s clear that college is some of the best times of students as they begin to find out what they want to do with the rest of their lives. Recently, Bob Butkas, the Senior District Market Manager, came to Marist College campus to advocate for Federated Insurance because he believed in the prestige that the college had to offer because of all the notable graduates that have gone onto do real things in the real world. 

It is great to get smart, young, educated and driven minds into Federated Insurance because it will in the end benefit the company and the individual. The amount of benefits that come with being an employee at Federated Insurance is simply astounding due to the base payment being 50,00 dollar a year and employees have the ability to work up to 100,000 dollars a year.

Federated Insurance is not your average company considering that they are willing to work with the employee on their desire to work in certain places around the country which suits them best. It’s rare to find a company that takes into consideration an employee’s personal life, so with this point Butkas really intrigued the audience.

For most college kids, their vision is not as clear as what they want to do after their four years, and Federated Insurance provides an achievable job for most college kids coming out of college. Butkas explained the real meaning of having some kind of money in his bank account, and he felt accomplished. The three month training is the first real push at becoming an employee for the Federated Insurance but in the end it is all worth it. The training really put the tools in the trainees and put them in real situations with presentations they would have to face in the real job. 

The Federated Shield Network automatically puts the employee in good hands of training in the workforce as they can stay safe and avoid any accidents. This company really cares about their employees and the people they insure. Butkas emphasized that it truly means a lot to do good in other people’s lives and encouraged students at Marist to consider such a great opportunity. 

Butkas made it important to emphasize how important Marist College is to companies such as the Federated Insurance because again it puts the emphasis on young, talented and smart people who need to have a back up in their lives.
